Meet Robert Ian Rollwagen
Robert Ian Rollwagen, B. Sc. (Hons), M.Sc. is a statistician by trade and spent ten years advising medical professionals on their research. He grew up in Winnipeg and was a statistician at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Manitoba until 1978. After a brief stint in Regina managing and developing computer information systems, he then moved to Ottawa in 1983 to begin his management consulting career. He started his own company in 1987, which focused on helping people and organizations be more effective. But, because of his strong scientific and technical expertise, he also did other types of consulting. For example, he has been retained many times to evaluate companies (for potential funding purposes) as to whether they were doing scientific research and experimental development.
In 2006, he realized that he hadn’t yet found his real purpose and began winding down his consulting time to begin working on this book, with no regrets whatsoever. This book is him, and he is this book. Robert married his high school sweetheart, Colleen, and they are still happily together. She has provided both excellent editing advice and proofing. They have two married sons, and three grandkids. His family has been very supportive of his years of toil on this book. To learn even more about Robert, including his early writing phobia, listen to the radio interview he did with Kate Delaney, the famous Nationally Syndicated Radio Host. She has interviewed thousands of people, including 4 USA Presidents. Just click on the YouTube link below. |
